„The staff was very polite and informative. The ambience was wonderful, nostalgic even. They had live music. I did however wish there were more after hours purchasable items such as a deck of cards. There wasn't anywhere close by that offered such items either. Otherwise the water stayed hot in the room and it was very spacious and clean. Loved the robes in the room, great! The evening concierge was sweet and helpful too.“

„Ein Hotel mit Charakter, welches unbedingt mal renoviert werden sollte. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und ist sehr gemütlich, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchten dringend mal neue Tapete und einen frischen Teppich. Sehr freundliches Personal.“

„Stayed in the Riley Suite. First time in a boutique hotel and I was floored with the atmosphere of this place. Huge bonus was the on-site restaurant/bar “Galley” which was absolute class. “

„The only reason for my stay is that it was night and I couldn't see the road in the thunderstorm. If there hadn't been a power outage, I would have chosen one of the other hotels next door. After checking in, I noticed this property used to belong to another company. It has not been renovated at all. The carpets are nasty. While the sheets and towels are dingy and some have stains, they did smell clean so at least they arè trying. I hope someone will see this and help the owners bring this ...

„This property is beautiful. The deck has a lovely view of a pond. The hot tub is very relaxing. Occasional glimpses of wildlife. Great atmosphere for a relaxing weekend!“

„My husband and I just wanted to get away for a couple days and this was perfect. Its over a little market and was perfect for getting lunch and snacks. Its a perfect size for 2 in a nice neighborhood. “

„Roger and Mary were very accommodating and great hosts. The Lake House is cute yet roomy and the lakeside setting is beautiful. They've included everything you could ever need. We highly recommend the Lake House when your travels bring you to southern Ohio.“
