„We had a lovely break despite some gloomy weather. The cottage was warm and cosy and easily big enough for 4 of us. The owners were friendly and helpful with great suggestions about what to do. If you want a quiet break away from crowds this was great. We did some great cycling routes and some lovely quiet walking. Some nice cafes in the village and we enjoyed a lovely evening in the local pub.“

„The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.“
