„Loved our stay here. A perfect bookend to 7 months on the road. It was a cold couple of days and the great supply of firewood was much appreciated. Beautiful location, wildlife (Echidna outside our door) Host were full of information. We will come again🙂“

„Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away“

„There were 7 of us staying to attend a wedding and we all had a great time. Beds were comfortable and plenty of warm blankets. Wood provided for the fires - which was needed as it was a cold in the evenings. Sunday morning the ladies sat out on the veranda with morning coffee/tea whilst the men slept in. Kitchen was well equipped. Stunning views and surrounding property. Only downfall is not really 2 bathrooms - 2 showers, (1 in the bath & one stand alone) one toilet inside and another outside ...

„We were four friends, all seniors, visiting the area to see the spring flowers at Mayfield Gardens and the Rydal daffodil festival. We found the house very comfortable and welcoming. It has comfortable beds, good hot water, and heaters in all bedrooms to help with the chilly nights. The flowers and nibblies the owners had thoughtfully supplied to welcome us, as well as a generous supply of basics in the kitchen and bathrooms, were much appreciated. „Pine Needle Cottage was nice and clean and we had most of our needs met. We were disappointed that we couldn't sit outside at the fire pit as pictured in the booking photos. The only other problem was no dry wood to light the inside fire which was disappointing. Overall the cottage was clean and tidy.“
