„The Grand Galvez has been our go-to hotel in Galveston since the total redo a few years back. There is nothing like it on the island when it comes to old school beauty. The decor is exquisite in every way. The rooms, although not large, are updated and decorated beautifully. The downstairs bar is like going back in time to the 40’s/50’s. The crowd is obviously “older” than that at the other upscale hotel on the west end of the Seawall. Thats ok since we’re older ! The location is also great ...

„Poor experience. It was very loud. Rooms outdated, breakfast room to small for all the guests. Only one waffle maker, long cues, walls super thin (you could hear any noise) rooms outdated. Not even water or orange juice for breakfast. “

„Worst motel for years. Room was smelling, kept our suitcases closed all times. In the morning floor was wet because of too much moisture. Room was in the corner so no daylight. No ventilation possible. I don’t say that often: I wouldn’t stay here again. “

„TOP Hotel wenn der Preis stimmt. Super Frühstück und tolles Zimmer. Aber warum 15$ fürs Parken ??? Mein einziger Kritikpunkt !! Ich habe für umsonst in der Seitenstrasse geparkt. Dafür gibt es von mir ein Punkt Abzug !!!!“

„Proximity to the beach was great. We had a room with balcony and sea view. It was awesome for watching the sunrise. Room was how you would expect it at a Holiday Inn. Everything you need for a reasonable price. “

„Großartig war der Balkon mit Blick auf‘s Meer !!! Das Hotel selbst sehr abgewohnt, Löcher in den Türen … definitiv total überteuert. Zimmer waren sonst aber gut, Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, im Restaurant beim Frühstück allerdings nicht.“

„Die Lage war super. Direkt nebenan das phantastische Saltgrass Steakhouse. Der Service war lausig, kein Zummerservice bei 4 Nächten. Das Zimmer feucht und schimmelig. Siehe Foto. Pool war ganz ok. Der Kaffee auch.“
