„Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. „Lovely hotel and garden arrived, checked in and had a G&T in the garden. The evening meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious with friendly and helpful staff both in the restaurant and the bar. Lovely nights sleep in a four poster bed. The only downside was the shower had only two settings, scalding and off. We reported it to reception and the girl explained to us how to use a shower. I pointed out that we already knew how to use a shower. She did not understand that it had no control on ...

„...allerdings liegt wohl auch das Hauptaugenmerk auf dem Restaurant. Man mußte schon ein wenig klappern, um sich als Hotelgast bemerkbar zu machen. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war gut, die des Bades nicht so gut. Personal, wenn anwesend, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war in Ordnung, auch wenn es nur Instant-Kaffee gab.“

„The location of the property, at a motorway services is good for those considering a single night stopover, but not for those needing to travel around the area, due to the need to first drive to the next junction to exit. „Stayed here as i was attending a conference at the same site, and the price was great, plus it included my evening meal and breakfast. Last year i stayed at another hotel further away, and meals had to be bought off-site, so this was a much better option for me this time. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back next year.“

„Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were perfectly acceptable for the price point. Although there’s no front desk at the hotel itself — you need to collect the key from the pub across the street — this wasn’t a major issue and the process was straightforward. "This Hilton has rooms which are clean and quiet, beds are good but no option to ventilate the room. The restaurant facilities can’t be worse: at opening time of the restaurant we ordered food and 10 minutes later you are told to order something else because they ran out of it. As we had chosen something else, the response was: “Is THAT all, you want nothing else?” In a very arrogant way. Then they even expect a tip afterwards. During Checkout, the receptionists were unable to produce an invoice. I wanted to know how much and for what I would be charged. This was the wrong question as the receptionist in jogging-trousers became very unfriendly. This is not what I’m used to experience in a Hilton Hotel!"
