Welcome to Deer View, a peaceful woodland retreat built in 2023. This cozy cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, featuring a private bedroom with a Queen Bed and a charming sleeping loft with two additional Queen Beds.

Enjoy the comforts of home with a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, high-speed internet, and a relaxing covered hot tub. The spacious great room offers comfortable seating, a large screen TV, and a dining area perfect for family meals after a day of exploring.

Located just minutes from the Patoka Lake Main Entrance (park pass included), Deer View is also close to Patoka Lake Winery, boat rentals, restaurants, and hiking trails. After a day on the lake or exploring the area, unwind by the fire pit, relax on the porch, or enjoy a meal on the back porch overlooking the woods.

We are also conveniently located about 20 minutes from the historic French Lick Resort and Casino, as well as the Pete Dye and Donald Ross golf courses.

Whether you're planning a family getaway, a weekend with friends, or simply looking to relax in nature, Deer View offers a comfortable place to slow down and reconnect.

Woodland Cabin Experience

Deer View is located in a wooded rural environment. Guests may occasionally encounter insects, wildlife, leaves, or natural debris typical of woodland properties. Our cleaning team prepares the cabin carefully for every stay, but guests who enjoy nature and rustic surroundings tend to appreciate Deer View the most.

Personal Host Support

As your host, I live just 1/4 mile away and am available if anything comes up during your stay. Being nearby allows me to respond quickly if guests need assistance—something that sets our cabins apart from many remote-managed rentals.

Private Cabin Community

Deer View is located in a private cabin community accessible by gravel roads. To minimize dust and maintain a pleasant environment for everyone, please observe the 10 mph speed limit while driving through the area.
