„A lovely place to stay in a quiet, pretty village surrounded by lovely countryside. The staff were excellent and so friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a high standard. I appreciated the fridge with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. The breakfast was substantial and tasty (I loved the vine tomatoes). I would definitely recommend The Sally to friends.“

„Tolles Hotel, und toller Service. Allerdings hat das was in der Reservierung angegeben war nicht gestimmt. Wir haben ein familienzimmer mit separaten Wohnzimmer gebucht. Die Unterkunft hatte allerdings "nur" einzelne Zimmer. Das war auch vollkommen in Ordnung, aber wir haben halt etwas anderes gebucht und in unseren Augen auch etwas anderes bezahlt. Dennoch ist der Preis für die reale Unterkunft in Ordnung... aber halt nicht das uns versprochene Schnäppchen...“

„Wir hatten einen holprigen Start. Wir waren müde vom Laufen und als wir unser Zimmer bezogen, sahen wir, dass dies vergessen wurde zu putzen. Der Chef persönlich hat dies dann nachgeholt und es war schlussendlich alles sauber und in Ordnung. Das Essen im Restaurant Abends und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und reichhaltig. “

„This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. “

„We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay“

„We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!“

„Absolutly gorgous hut, really quaint and quirky. Perfect bit of outdoor space with decking and grass for our dog. Lovely size hot tub and comfy bed. Stunning views and perfect location for nice long walks. Local pub does beautiful food on a evening. Only issue is that there could be a sign somewhere to advise where to turn off to get to the huts as we found it difficult to find. We had a lovely, relaxibg few days, we would love to return.“
