„Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.“

„A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!“

„Cozy, charming cottage a short drive away from Southwest Harbor and Echo Lake Beach, as well as within easy access to all of Acadia. The house was very clean and well-kept, and the outdoor space, including the fire pit and grill, was great. Robbin was also an amazing host, both friendly and communicative. „This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail.“

It was immaculately clean, 20-25 minutes from Acadia, and so calm! Truly, we couldn't have asked for anything better! I've already checked flights in hopes to come back!“

„Great little cabin close to the activity of Acadia and bustle of Bar Harbor, but seemingly miles away from anywhere! Two bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. Bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the living/dining area nice for just unwinding at the end of the day. There is a fire pit area too that looked good for relaxing in the evening, but we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of it. “
