Enjoy the elegance of a by-gone era while staying in our safe, quiet, one-of-a-kind 4500 sq ft loft located in the heart of downtown.
We welcome working professionals, families, Binghamton University parents, groups and more. Self check-in and same day check in is available. Private parking available.
Walkable to restaurants, bars, coffee, shopping & events with access to a full service fitness center. Close access to bus stop & interstate highways 81, 86 & 88. Binghamton airport 15 mins.
The loft, completely private and located in a historical building, is beautifully decorated and features cathedral ceilings, stunning window architecture, interior brick walls, an interior mezzanine/loft and a breathtaking Italian shower. Staying in this loft is an experience in and of its own.
The large private balcony offers fresh air, a cool skyline view, an outdoor dining set, and a hot tub.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, 12 ft ceilings, and direct access to a beautiful master bathroom that features a “wall-less” Italian shower.
The mezzanine (second bedroom) features two queen beds that overlook the 35 ft tall living room ceilings. There are blackout curtains that can be pulled open to block off the space for privacy.
The stainless steel kitchen offers a full sized refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and instant hot water. We have coffee, creamer and tea available on site.
The loft itself is on the 3rd floor of a 3-story brick building. The first floor entrance opens up directly to the private parking space. After taking the stairs you will find the entrance to the “Parlor City Estate” where your private rental includes the entire 2BR apartment.
We welcome families of all ages, travelers and working professionals with groups of up to 8 guests. Bed linen, and bath / hand towels are provided.
Washer and dryer are available for use with laundry detergent provided.
The apartment has two desks (one private and one in the living room) suitable for zoom meetings or laptop work. Wireless internet, ironing board, iron and hair dryer available.
There is free wifi and a Roku TV with Netflix.
There is garage parking and street parking for additional vehicles.
For added safety & security, there are security cameras in the building hallways and overlooking the building entrance / parking space.
I live right next to the loft so I am readily and quickly available if needed. I am typically available to help with the check-in process if needed and am happy to assist in any way I can to make your stay enjoyable.
Safely and quietly located in the heart of Binghamton's lively & historic downtown district just seconds from some of the nicest restaurants and attractions in town. Within a 5-minute walk you will find fine dining, casual lunch dining, diners, coffee shops, retail shopping, shopping boutiques, a wine shop on the corner, cocktail bars, beer on tap, rooftop bars, speakeasies, convenience stores, the performing arts theatre, the downtown hockey stadium, the downtown baseball stadium and the Greyhound Bus Station. Perfectly located to enjoy Binghamton's First Friday art showcase events on the first Friday of each month. Binghamton University is a short 10-minute drive, with a bus stop just out front of the building. Interstates 81, 86, and 88 are within a 5-minute drive. Binghamton Airport is 15 minutes away and Syracuse Airport is about 1 hour.
There is a free parking space included with this listing located in the parking lot directly behind the building. Guests can get around by walking (there are many bars, restaurants, events, shows, activities all within a 5-minute walk). Additionally, there is a bus stop right in front of the building and Uber is also readily available if needed.
Based on AirBnb Guidelines and suggestions, and to help monitor our loft rules, we use an AirBnb recommended signal detection sensor called "Party Squasher" that will send us reports regarding the total number of devices in the loft at any one time. 1) NO SMOKING IN LOFT: VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT AND AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO "DE-SMOKE" THE LOFT.
2) NO PARTIES: $150 PER ADDITIONAL GUEST PER NIGHT WILL BE CHARGED FOR GUESTS THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED ON THE RESERVATION. THERE ARE HALLWAY AND PARKING LOT CAMERAS INSTALLED TO MONITOR THIS ACTIVITY.
3) All visitors to the loft must be approved by host - simple text / communication is fine. I am okay with visitors as long as they are communicated and there are not parties.
4) Quiet hours between 10PM and 8AM
5) No Shoes in the loft - please remove shoes in the entryway
6) If you check in later than 9PM please let me know. I may not be available to help with any unforeseen check in troubles after this time
