„We had a wonderful stay in San Ignacio at the Babette House. The house and the grounds were beautiful and clean and had all the amenities except access to washer and dryer. Plenty of room for a group of 9. House had everything we needed and what we ran out of we got at the market close by. Maybe needs more towels but not a big problem if you brought your own. „The property is a 5-6 minute walk to downtown so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. This includes Maya Walk so getting there for caving and ruins tours was easy. Far enough away to avoid the noise. Host was responsive. It was a little confusing to get the TV to work so i could watch the Super Bowl but we eventually got there. No regrets. “

„We were the only rental in this little village. It is located on a gravel roads near a run-down park. The kids enjoyed playing there and met some nice kids they played with. This house was perfect. It was so clean, had great A/C and a beautiful shower with the best water pressure we’ve had on our trip so far. There is one small frying pan - we could have used another. And no butter knives - but otherwise was well equipped! We would definitely recommend.“

"The direct surroundings are not very astonishing, but the Hotel itself and the rooms are squeaky clean, the beds comfortable and the terrace invites to stay for a coffee (from the coffee shop right below the hotel) or for a beer, which one can buy in the small bar onsite. Furthermore the small "boulevard" with lots of restaurants, bars and shops is nearby. We were received very friendly and provided several recommendations what to do/where to go during our stay. Given the heat of May, the small refridgerator in the room and the free (cold!) water dispenser were a big plus compared to many other hotels."
