"Richtig gut gefallen hat und der Service, bevor es zum Check in gekommen ist. Nette, freundliche Mitarbeiter und dennoch Hilfsbereit. Was uns absolut nicht gefallen hat, ist, dass unser Zimmer nicht gereinigt wurden ist, obwohl wir es an der Rezeption angemeldet haben. Gut das kann passieren, jedoch sollte das beim erneuten Male nicht wieder vor kommen. Zum Frühstück ist zu sagen, dass die Pancakes sehr trocken waren sowie die Säfte ganz schön verdünnt waren. Daran vielleicht etwas arbeiten. Sonst im großen und ganzen, ein toller Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder."

"Super Lage zur Fußgängerzone. 5 Minuten zum Haus Kolding mit Schlosssee zum Spazierengehen. Zimmer sauber und Bett bequem. W-lan super und Smart-TV. Das Frühstück war wirklich exzellent. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr mit direktem Hotelzugang... Top. Immer wieder gerne."

"Super freundliches und entspanntes Personal. Die Atmosphäre war daher in diesem Hotel über dem Schnitt. Nähe zum Legoland perfekt. Einziges Manko was dem Personal bewusst ist..die fehlende Klimaanlage in den Dachzimmern. Hier sollte das Management nachlegen."

"If you're looking for a place somewhere between a hotel and a traditional Danish guesthouse, Refborg hits a pleasant middle ground. The room was surprisingly spacious and would comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. Everything felt clean, practical and well maintained. Refborg markets itself as a 3-star property and generally delivers exactly that standard. No luxury finishes, but no unpleasant surprises either. A nice touch was the in-room coffee station. Not something you automatically expect at this level and very much appreciated when checking out before breakfast service. Being able to produce an emergency morning Nescafé before facing the day deserves credit. The reception was friendly, personal and refreshingly efficient. No corporate rituals, no unnecessary paperwork, just a straightforward check-in that felt more like arriving at a family-run guesthouse than a hotel chain. The room offered a proper desk, two TVs and a clean bathroom. The mattress was on the softer side and sound insulation could be better, as normal conversations from neighbouring rooms were audible. Families will likely appreciate the property even more than business travellers. The children's playroom is excellent and the entire place feels genuinely welcoming towards families rather than merely accommodating them. One point worth mentioning is pricing. During my stay the rate was 1,453 DKK (around €195), which is objectively quite expensive for a 3-star overnight stay."

"Hotel Svanen delivers exactly what many business travelers actually need: easy access, uncomplicated logistics, friendly staff and rooms large enough to not feel like you’re sleeping inside an airline carry-on. Check-in was mostly smooth, although the Ring doorbell system apparently decided to unionize the moment I arrived. Fortunately the support number is posted directly beside the entrance and the night staff solved the issue quickly and professionally. The room itself was spacious, clean and refreshingly functional. Massive Philips TV, decent workspace, simple Scandinavian styling and enough room to unpack without performing tactical luggage Tetris on the floor. Bathroom was straightforward and clean as well. The mattress in Room 61 was extremely soft though. Depending on your preferences, this is either “comfort” or “an orthopedic experiment.” Walls are also a bit thin. At one point I became involuntarily familiar with another guest’s snoring schedule several doors away. Breakfast was good and entirely sufficient for a work trip. Not a luxury brunch cathedral with dry ice and chia seeds arranged by architects, but proper food, good coffee and efficient service. Smokers are reasonably accommodated with several outdoor smoking areas, which is increasingly rare in Europe. In proper Danish weather conditions however, these areas become less “smoking lounge” and more “North Sea survival simulation.” Biggest plus overall: the staff. Reception and ni"
