„We stayed the night before our son's wedding. We booked two rooms. Both had a lot of mosquitoes. The other room also had some sort of bugs which inflicted nasty bites. The day after I called the pub to let them know they had an issue. I was told a manager would call me back. Four days later I have heard nothing. Very unimpressed. Will never stay again.“

„sehr freundlicher Empfang feines Frühstück“

„This place is a gem! There is a bus that is a block away and takes 20 minutes to Stansted Airport. The room we had was wonderful: beautiful bed linens, Turkish bath robe, lovely decor, and a beautiful, healthy, breakfast in the fridge that included a very fresh and attractive fruit platter. The little touches like the coffee machine, toaster, and excellent bread, butter, jams, fresh milk, pretty china cups and plates, made us feel we were in a real home. „Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.“

„Ich hatte vor allen Dingen aufgrund der freundlichen Behandlung durch Patricia eine sehr angenehme Zeit im Love and Peace. Das Zimmer war sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. An das reichhaltige englische Frühstück werde ich mich immer wieder gerne zurückerinnern. Vielen Dank!“
