„This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm ...

„The grounds and wrap around deck were wonderful. We spent most of the time on the deck. Steve was most helpful with his suggestions and knowledge of the area. The carved wood in the house was exceptional. The nights were a bit warm for us and the hill to get to the property was doable but difficult with a car. Location was great and all the restaurants were fabulous.“

„This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. It's definitely a change of pace from the busier, ...

„The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice “

„We all love owners , the house and neighborhood.It was very private and pretty.Taniya and Ken were very helpful. The house is well equipped The location is good but depends on what and where someone is planning activities . It is located 1.5 hours from LaFortuna so include the driving time into your planning.“

„Wir waren von den Bildern begeistert, wir waren noch mehr begeistert, als wir angekommen sind. Ein wunderschönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, in dem man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Die Einrichtung ist komplett, alles funktioniert und es ist sehr privat und ruhig. Wir würden die Unterkunft allerdings nur für ein Paar empfehlen.“

"Absolut saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr bemüht, freundlich und zaubert ein sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir durften unser Zimmer auch schon vor der offiziellen Check-in Zeit beziehen und durften unseren Mietwagen auch noch nach unserem Check-out direkt vor der Unterkunft parken. Den Nationalpark Rio Celeste erreicht man fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten; eine kostenlose Badestelle im Rio Celeste, direkt neben einer Brücke, in ca. 20 Minuten (man läuft durchweg entlang der Hauptverkehrsstraße)."

"Herzlicher Empfang, familiäre Atmosphäre, 4 charmante Hüttchen (wir waren im Cacao House), sehr sauber und gut ausgerüstet. Spontane Night Tour mit dem Besitzer durch sein Anwesen mit Sichtung von typischen Fröschen. Herzhaftes Frühstück und freundliche Kommunikation, wir fühlten uns willkommen. Lage mitten in natürlicher Umgebung, einzig die Zufahrt über holprige Strasse war nicht optional … aber den Umständen entsprechend alles besser als erwartet, absolut empfehlenswert. "

"The view from our room/tiny house on Lake Arenal was just wonderful, embedded in the green hills and the sound of many different birds. The sourrounding garden of La Mansion Inn Arenal was kept lovely. We also enjoyed the tasty brekfast, although the menu was rather small. We really recommend to try the delecious meals that are serverd for dinner. The service of the receptionist was very friendly, professional (good English) and helpful. "
