„we had a very nice time at this lovely home. we enjoyed every minute of our stay and had a lot of fun trying out the Kajaks. The cosy fireplace made every evening magical. we definitly recommend renting this home for a few relaxing days at the Lake.“

„Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be ...

„The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!“

„This cottage was so beautiful, peaceful and serene. From the way it was decorated on the inside, which included a sweet note and gift of bread, to the stunning water and sunset views on the outside. The host and everyone we met here were so kind and helpful. A relaxing vacation in nature by the water, filled with a community of wonderful people. We hope to return soon!!! “

„We absolutely loved everything about the Barge Inn. A lovely place at a beautiful location. The golf cart was definitely a huge help since we spent a lot of time at the beach and we stayed as a family of 7. The owners are very attentive and always strive to make your stay the best possible. We loved the porch and the overall feel of the house, everything was very clean. The Internet was fast and the kitchen is well equipped! I even baked a birthday cake there ! 10/10 recommend “

„We had a wonderful 4 weeks. The house was very comfortable especially the beds! All though the weather was unseasonably hot (so we were told), the air conditioning kept the house cool.We had a couple of glitches but they were all solved with a text to the owner. We very much enjoyed the daily visits from the deer, the gray squirrels and the various birds. We fell in love with the area and added some great new friends. “

„Lake view was amazing! When you wake up the lake is the first thing you see! Such a peaceful feeling! The host was more than happy to help! Such a good person,Yes it has a board dock for you ! The ramp was too shallow to put in but birdsong marina was 6 minute drive! We will definitely come back!“

„We came down for an anniversary trip, my husband myself and our two girls (8 &4). We had the best time! We swam off the dock for a bit then went to Murray and over to Tennessee. We only came down for the weekend but we loved the little house so much. Our girls didn’t want to leave and neither did we. We plan to come back for a longer stay soon! Absolutely loved this little house! “
