„This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend.“

„We loved staying in the glamping tent and will visit again! The instructions to get to the property were very clear (able to do it in the dark with a mid-size SUV easily). Host called the day before to make sure we would be able to communicate with them. Tent was spotless when we arrived and included a couple water bottles, first aid kit, and plenty of lighting. „We were overall impressed with Ten Bits Ranch and its beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It’s truly a hidden gem—emphasis on hidden! Just be prepared: the property is set about 2.5 miles down a very rough gravel road. We were in a Honda Accord, and let’s just say… it was not a match made in heaven. „We selected this property for a family get away as it was centrally located to the places and events we wanted to experience. It also provided space, comfort, seclusion and privacy. The observation deck on top of the shipping container was a big hit and excellent way to observe the stars at night while being off the desert floor. The home was very comfortable with all the amenities. We would highly recommend this property for all it has to offer. “

„We enjoyed our stay at the No Stock Ranch while we visited Big Bend. It has a huge porch with great views. Two large bedrooms and two large baths. Big Kitchen and Living. Great for families or people who need separate bedrooms and want to visit / cook at home. Hosts were very helpful. “

„We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. “

"This has been one of the best rooms that we have had on our current vacation. It was unique, had an individual design, was clean and it blended into the Big Bend area theme. It was also absolutely uncomplicated to check in and out. Loved it!"

"Wenn man mal von allem abschalten will, perfekt 👍 Kein Fernseher, kein Handyempfang (ausser mal logt sich im WLAN ein) es ist abgelegen ruhig und ab 22 Uhr absolut dunkel. Perfekt um mal den Sternenhimmel zu bewundern. Und tagsüber hat man eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Berge"

Der beste Ort zum Übernachten in der Wüste

"Ich habe 5 Nächte in der Ten Bits Ranch im Old Jailhouse Zimmer verbracht. Rundum ein wunderbarer Ort, mitten in der Wüste, gut erreichbar über eine Gravelroad. Der Check in war mit Pin Code ganz einfach. Ein wunderbares Zimmer, alles liebevoll vorbereitet, alles was man braucht, ein bequemes Bett, ein tolles Bad, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle. Vor dem Zimmer sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang sehen, war soooo schön. In der Cantina gibt es für alle zur Selbstbedienung Wasser, Kaffee, Säfte, Brot, Waffeln und vieles mehr. Eine komplette Küche, wenn man kochen möchte. Wer Ruhe und Ursprünglichkeit sucht, ist hier richtig. Nach Teralingua bracht man ca. 30 Minuten, etwas länger in den Big Bend NP. Eine grandiose Umgebung. Ich hätte noch länger bleiben können und komme gerne wieder. "

"Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Mark und Michelle, die beiden sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, das Appartement hat alles, was man braucht, die Lage ist unschlagbar, abends kommen Rehe und Füchse bis an die Terrasse, der Sternenhimmel ist phänomenal, der Big Bend NP 45 Minuten entfernt "
