„Efficient usage of space and all you need. If you look for luxury, it is the wrong place. Everything is used, older and not in best shape but it makes part of its charme. What really could be better are two things. Around the house was a lot of building material and tools, colors, not very well hidden, easy to access to kids. Some nails out of the wood. „We had a great stay in the apartment/house which was situated in a large, but very green und friendly holiday park with houses und trailers. The infrastructure was perfect and included a reception, a small shop/cafe and pool area. Into the vivid town centre it was just a few minutes drive. "A typical older Victorian hotel, but better than expected at that price! We had a superior twin, which was on the second floor and had a great view through two large windows of the promenade and the sea. The room was big, the beds were comfortable, linen and towels were all new and the room was always clean, plenty of coffee and tea in the room, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We are a small misunderstanding when checking in which was quickly rectified. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet and fried or poached eggs on demand. The coffee was good and the bar was nice too. We will definitely come again"

"The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. The small village has 1 or 2 dinner possibilities around the market place and is charming - at least the center is. The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. They have tried to connect modernity and antique, of which I like the latter more. I visited the fitness studio, which was ok. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food and cool beer. Be prepared to meet sheep lingering outside when you walk to your car. When we were there, there were enough parking spaced."
