„The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. “

„We really appreciated the location which allowed us to go back and forth from White Memorial, having lunch at the apartment. The kitchen equipment was great. We cooked two dinners and went to the Village Restaurant for one dinner. That was delicious. I would recommend this VRBO to everyone. “

„Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. “

„My mom, dog, and I attended a convention in New Milford about 15-20 minutes away from the cottage. It served us well and was really convenient that it was pet friendly. In a nice neighborhood Note: though it did not affect us, it’s definitely not a handicap accessible stay. “

„We stayed in early May, so didn't get to enjoy the lake, other than the serene view from the many windows in the house. Bird lovers will enjoy the many, many birds observable through the sliding glass doors and audible constantly. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked with what we needed to cook our meals. We found plenty of places to hike. We found the description on vrbo a little confusing because the house next door was also pictured. We figured it out, though. “

„We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform ...

„The house was clean and nicely decorated. Had lots of things to do inside and out. Was slightly disappointed that the lake wasn’t closer. when looking on the pictures we didn’t notice that there was a main street between the house and the lake. It wasn’t easy for for some of the guests who get down the steep hill from the house to the street and then another sleep hill to the lake. As long as you know that going into the rental, you’ll be fine. “

„This place is amazing!! The house had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and also be able to host some of our family in the area was precious. My daughters rented equipment for the babies which worked out well. The house is very spacious and 5 adults and 3 children fit nicely. Very highly recommend. The pier was fun to hang out on but due to weather we were to enjoy the lake as much. Easy to find, and owners were very responsive. “

„We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.“
