„Man wird von der netten Julie zusammen mit ihren zwei Schäferhunden begrüßt. Das Einzelzimmer ist recht groß und es gibt als "Freebie" 0,5l Wasser und Tee/Kaffe. Das Badezimmer muss geteilt werden, war für mich aber kein Problem, da ich als nicht Geschäftsreisender unter der Woche nach acht Uhr sowieso alleine war. Das engl. Frühstück ist üppig und Julie geht auf viele Wünsche ein.“

„Lovely apartment in great location next to city centre. The owner had an issue with previous guests who trashed the apartment, however when we arrived the apartment was clean and in great condition. Only issue was a slight dampness to couch due to him having to clean because of previous users. This would not put me off using this apartment again, thank you for the use of your apartment“

„The compasses inn is a hidden gem. It is far from any main roads and has been voted one of the best pubs for many years. Dining is uncoventional in that you have to choos from many options from a blackboard (rather quaint). The staff are extremely freindly“

„Massive pigeon infestation, cant leave the window open because they will fly in. The hot water finished after 10 minutes in the morning, so no shower in the morning, only one person. You need to climb 50 stairs to reach the apartment, the elevator is broken. Only a 1/2 roll used toliet paper, no rug to step out of the shower, used a towel instead. “

„We always like returning to Pontlands Park - rooms are lovely and definitely among the largest hotel rooms we stay in. Access to the Reflections spa ensures that when we stay here, it feels like we could be anywhere in the world. A lovely escape from reality “
