✨ Welcome to The Marten Cabin — a wooded riverfront cabin on the Big Deschutes with a private hot tub, wood stove, A/C, kayaks, and riverfront trails right outside the door. Dog-friendly with a fenced side yard, about 10 minutes south of Sunriver.



The cabin sits at the very end of the road, bordering National Forest land, with trails starting at the front door. Watch bald eagles over morning coffee, relax on one of three river-view decks, or soak under the stars in your private hot tub.

🏡 The Space

Rustic-meets-comfortable, built for relaxing after a day outside. A/C in summer, wood stove in winter, high-speed Wi-Fi, and room for families or groups to spread out.

• Upstairs Primary – King bed + futon, private deck

• Upstairs Second Bedroom – Double bed + 2 Twin beds, next to a small game/TV nook

• Downstairs Bedroom – Queen bed, French doors to the main deck and hot tub

⚠️ The staircase to the upper level is very steep and may not suit young children or guests with limited mobility (see photos).



🍳 Kitchen & Dining

Fully stocked: stainless appliances, coffee maker and grinder, blender, crock pot, waffle iron, and plenty of cookware. The log dining table is the heart of the cabin for meals and games.

🔥 Fire Pit & Firewood

Firewood is not provided for the fire pit or the wood stove; it's sold locally. Outdoor fires are regulated by the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District and seasonal bans are common. Please call the district's burn line before every fire — status can change daily.



🎣 Fishing & River Access

Directly on the Big Deschutes. The bank below the cabin is steep, but a nearby access trail gets you to the water in a short walk. Fall River (world-class fly fishing) and Fall River Falls are minutes away. An Oregon fishing license is required — available online or in Sunriver and Bend.



🐾 Dog-Friendly

Dogs welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. The fenced side yard next to the house and deck gives them a safe spot to play.

• Sunriver Village (golf, dining, shopping): ~10 minutes

• Mt. Bachelor: ~25 minutes

• Cascade Lakes (Crescent, Cultus, Odell, Crane Prairie and more): within an hour

• Bend: about 30–35 minutes



🔐 Guest Access

The whole cabin is yours: decks, hot tub, fire pit, yard, kayaks, and trails. Keyless entry at the front door. Your personalized door code arrives by email/text about 24 hours before check-in.



📷 Security

One exterior security camera is mounted at the driveway, facing the street. There are no cameras inside the home.



🗺️ Getting Around

Quiet neighborhood south of Sunriver; paved driveway with year-round access. Sunriver IGA is about 10–15 minutes north. Arriving via Bend? Grocery shop there for the best selection.
