„Spacious home with all the desirable vacation amenities. The house was large enough for a gathering of at least 10 people if not more. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house ...

„We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean.“

„We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!“

„This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views.“

„There were no second locks on the door, and the slider door didn’t lock at all, safety concern. The property and view was beautiful! The room itself was clean and very nice! The coffee house below was phenomenal! The drive in and out will keep us away, sad but true. Also there was never a person in the office. “

„This was a great place right on the ocean! So comfortable and beautiful amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and very modern. The views from every window were amazing. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hot tub was ocean front and fit all six of us comfortably.There are three flights of stairs to get to the kitchen, we didn't have an issue with that, but renters should be aware of that.I would stay there again in a heartbeat! „This house has a great view of the ocean and is walking distance from the lighthouse and other Shelter Cove highlights. Comfortable beds and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, etc to cook for the family during our stay. We loved our stay here!“

„We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!“

„Getting here was a challenge, but the area and property was worth the trip! Plenty of extras for anyone who forgot something. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. „We arrived after dark and were immediately greeted by the soothing sound of Redwood Creek and a sky full of stars. The house was stunning, clean, and cozy with the radiant floor heating. After a good night's sleep in comfortable beds, morning revealed the awesome view.. it was a great homebase for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. We'd stay here again!“

„This was a our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and furnished with high end furniture and appliances (rare for a rental)! We spent entire days just staying at the property and enjoying the view, hot tub, wild life etc. The fireplace was perfect for the cool nights and the new back deck was our favorite place for stargazing and listening to the waves crashing in the back yard!
