„The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. Easy drives to many great sites on the isle. Great place to stay!“

„Fantastic stay with the following tiny cons, smoke alarm detectors went off every time we used the toaster. Also a small welcome pack of bread and fresh milk would have been appreciated after a long drive, but overall a wonderful place to stay and very comfortable.“

„Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. Great to not have to be concerned about bedding or towels. Sorry we ended up with 3 towels in our laundry. Will launder and return. The views are amazing. The loch warm enough to swim in. And fish. Don’t know about the rules of the latter but we caught nothing anyway. The beaches are somewhat amazing- even though ...

"Für eine Nacht auf South Uist gebucht. Die Unterkunft ist wenige Minuten vom Fähranleger in Lochboisdale entfernt und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungstouren auf den äußeren Hebriden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein Charger für Elektroautos ist vor dem Haus vorhanden. Kein TV im Zimmer und das ist manchmal auch gut so! Rupert ist ein top Host. Englischer Humor vom Feinsten und er denkt an alles. Sein selbst verfasstes Guidebook für North und South Uist ist erstklassig und liefert Tipps für tolle Ausflugsziele. Das Frühstück mit hochwertigen Zutaten wird auf Bestellung frisch zubereitet. Klare Empfehlung!"
