„The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. „Wir hatten hier übernachtet, bevor wir mit der Fähre zurück aufs Festland fuhren. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir empfehlen das 'The Evenhill' gerne weiter. „Our room had a nice 4-poster-bed. Our companion was upgraded from single to double room. The hotel is located in a zone that cannot normally be accessed by cars, but in the evening ist was still possible for unloading. There is parking available near the hotel at additional cost. The breakfast (continental style) was nice and rich, the staff competent and friendly. We would come back.“
