„This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. „Die Lage war für uns als Hadrianswanderer ideal. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber für uns völlig genügend. Das Pub ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet sehr gutes Essen an, das man bei schönem Wetter draussen geniessen kann. Das Angebot war reichhaltig zu vernünftigen Preisen. Schade war, dass man erst ab 8:00 frühstücken konnte mit sehr wässrigem, teurem Kaffee. Es übernachten sehr viele Hadrianswanderer, die sicher beizeiten loslaufen wollen.“

„All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. Despite the room not having been planned for use, everything was clean and fully stocked which was impressive. Bed extremely comfy, didn't want to leave! Breakfast being included was great, ...
