„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„We had a lovely 3 days staying in Topcroft cottage. All bedrooms are great sizes and having the 2 en-suites was very helpful as we were travelling as 2 families of 4. There is plenty of space for 8 people, the wood burner kept us cosy as the weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped! Phillipa was so kind and dropped in a freshly baked cake and bread when we arrived, these went down a storm with all. The cottage is in Hathersage and attached to the village pharmacy. Parking is adequate for 2 cars ...

„The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. „The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early ...
