„Absolutely beautiful and cozy place to stay. It is tucked away from noise, but is within a 10 minute drive to many restaurants and stores. The house was perfect for our getaway to Raystown (about 15 minutes) and Delgrossos (about 35 minutes). The host was wonderful and checked in with us on VRBO. The fire pit is a perfect place to make s'mores and to play corn hole. Everything was neat and clean. If we come back to Raystown, we would absolutely stay here again. “

„Great place. Yes some stink bugs but easy enough to deal with (owner left a vacuum out which was convenient). Be sure to pull the door really shut. Overall nice quiet location and pleasant stay. Communication with owner easy“

„Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed. “

„This is the second time we have stayed at The Oarhouse and would highly recommend it. Everything was clean and well-cared for. We appreciated the extra bedding and towels as well as the washer and dryer. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with all the basic supplies. If you need anything else there is a grocery store in nearby Coalport. Our family members who slept in the loft said the mattresses could use upgraded as they caused them some hip and back discomfort. Understandably, this is ...

„Wonderful house that is super close to Juniata College! My family of 4 greatly enjoyed staying here for college move-in day. Every detail was well thought out. Decor is beautiful and the house was immaculately clean! The coffee bar was a nice surprise and we enjoyed evening walks around the neighborhood. Laundry facilities were a bonus. Great communication from the host. We felt very safe in this area and the house had everything we needed and more. “

„The cottage is so charming and beautiful inside and out. It is also very clean and organized. Our family included me and my husband, our two toddlers, and the dog and it was perfect for us. The loft was great for the kids (we brought a pack n play for our youngest) and since it's enclosed, we were happy to be able to use a gate at the top of the stairs (which we also brought). The cottage has everything you need, from fire starter, s'mores, towels, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper.. you ...

„We had such a great, relaxing weekend at the Little Juniata River House. Most of our time was spent fishing right out the back door, which was such a treat. We came with no plans and no expectations, just the hope to relax—and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. We already are making plans for a return visit. “
