The Keelendi House is filled with original artwork and colour, boutique style with the comfort of home, just minutes from world-class wineries, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Days in the spa, nights at the movies with fresh popcorn, and all the magic of the Hunter Valley without the isolation.

THE SPACE
Whether you're here for a wine weekend, a family escape or a getaway with friends, The Keelendi House is set up to be somewhere you'll actually want to spend time, not just sleep.

Each room is individually designed and named. Morning Canopy has a king bed under a green leafy canopy; Evening Cellar is done in warm burgundy tones; Golden Grove is all walnut timber and afternoon light. Meals happen around Vintage Table or outside, and Sunset Garden holds the spa, the outdoor kitchen and a view of the mountains at dusk.

Three bedrooms with really comfortable beds. We were quite fussy when choosing the mattresses and linen!

The fourth sleeping space is the room behind the French doors, featuring a Koala sofa bed (a real bed in disguise) and its own TV. For groups of more than six guests, this room is set up as an additional bedroom.

Days flow outdoors: fire up the barbecue, share a long lunch under cover, then get in the spa as the sun drops behind the hills. Most guests end up out there with a cold glass of local Shiraz or Semillon and stay far longer than planned.

After dark, head to The Picture House, our home cinema with a big-screen projector, a wall of film posters, and a sofa that folds out wide enough for three to sprawl under blankets. There's a retro popcorn machine, and yes, a slushie machine too. Movie night after a day among the vines tends to be the thing groups talk about on the drive home.

In winter, the wood fireplace does the heavy lifting: book, blanket, glass of red.

And unlike many vineyard stays, you're never far from life's essentials. Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants are a 2-3 minute drive, not a 20-minute trip into town.

You'll have exclusive access to the entire property, including the house, home cinema, gardens, outdoor kitchen and private spa.

Please note that the house has one bathroom with the toilet inside it. Larger groups should consider whether this suits their needs before booking.

Self check-in is available via a secure smart lock with your own unique PIN, allowing you to arrive whenever it suits you.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The property is nestled in a quiet Bellbird Heights neighbourhood, offering privacy and a relaxed atmosphere within easy reach of the Hunter Valley's wineries, restaurants and attractions.

Enjoy local dining at Bellbird Hotel and The Italian Cottage, approximately 2-5 minutes away, with Cessnock's cafes and shops around 5-10 minutes away. The Valley Brewhouse at Potters and nearby cellar doors are approximately 10-15 minutes away, while Audrey Wilkinson, Hunter Valley Gardens, Hope Estate, the Smelly Cheese Shop, Sabor Dessert Bar and Balloon Aloft's Peterson House meeting point are around 15-25 minutes away. The home features a modern, mid-century-inspired design, with a focus on comfort, natural light and seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Guests are welcome to enjoy seasonal fruit from the garden, including lemons and other citrus, red mulberries, olives, grapes and passionfruit, when ripe and available.
