„We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday ...

„This apartment is the ideal location to explore St. John's. Next to all interesting places, from Signal Hill to The Rooms and George Street etc. It is very individual and charming. Katie is very helpful and obliging. We had a lot of fun being there, sitting on that marvellous terrace looking over the harbour to The Narrows and to Signal Hill, We really recommend that apartment.“

„The neighbourhood is in need of serious renovation compared to other districts in St. John’s. The apartment also needs overhaul. Everything is substandard. It's dark. Various minor repairs are required. Decoration and furniture are old-fashioned and have no charm. Even towels are frayed and gray from overwashing. It is not a place where one feels at home. We ended up leaving after just one night. We asked for a partial refund to no avail.“

„This property is located in a quiet, non-historic, residential suburb of St. John’s about 15 minutes from downtown. It has lots of space for a family and is clean. It’s a basement suite of a house and is somewhat humid but a dehumidifier is provided which helps a lot. Very clean with everything needed to cook simple meals. A more affordable option than anything else we found in St. John’s. Photos in the listing accurately show the unit.“

„The views from the deck are gorgeous!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub is a great touch. The rooms are a good size and nice to have two queen size beds! My only comment is in regards to the parking. It’s quite tricky and would not be suitable to someone who isn’t comfortable backing up a road to park. Overall we would recommend !!“

„It was great for the price, within walking distance of the downtown area and all amenities. A decent size deck with a table and chairs for sitting outside. Comfortable beds, a washer and dryer, stove and fridge and a fairly large living room, with a TV. Bathroom is small but clean and worked well for the 4 of us; plenty of towels available etc. We had a rental vehicle and a Pass for parking on the street which was always available and convenient. Really enjoyed ourselves there. Would not ...

„We loved the location, convenience to sites and the ease with which we booked and were able to access the apartment. There were some areas that needed extra cleaning; bathroom drain and areas in the larger bedroom. The flow and water temperature was great! The lovely lighting and roominess was appropriate for the three of us. “

„The neighborhood you'll find very quickly is the warmest you've ever seen. Head up to mad rock cafe for breakfast (fish cakes & toutons) then hike the trail from the cafe to mad rock. The property is extremely relaxed & lovely. I would have loved to see the basics added to their kitchen (like oil, salt, and vinegar). As well don't forget your shampoo and conditioner - there is none on the property.“
