„We had a wonderful stay at the caboose. The hot tub was wonderful after long days of hiking and being on the road. The host was very attentive and resposive. The only feedback for this property was the sleeping arrangement. The futon was rather uncomfortable and we both ended up sleeping in the bunkbeds the second night which killed the romantic vibbit. “

„This place was perfect for a week away from the city. We came here to get some peace and quiet and work remote. This place definitely fulfilled that. The wifi worked great, no work interuptions and access to the backyard to get some sun and view of the river couldn't be beat. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after work and Gabby was super responsive with whatever issues/questions we had. „As pictured, and described. Cozy cottage. Beautiful, private setting. Great porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or staging for next days fishing. Simple and straightforward property and hosts. Look forward to rebooking on a return trip to the Driftless/Viroqua area.“

„Super nice cabin that was in an excellent location! So clean and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend away! Would highly recommend and we plan to visit again! “

„If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax“

„This was our 3rd time staying here! It has become a tradition we look forward to and talk about often. This is a beautiful property and very nice cabin. I always feel safe and comfortable staying here. I can't wait to come back again! “

„The cabin was conveniently located and allowed us ready access for hiking along the high bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River particularly in areas with effigy/burial mounds. In addition, we were entertained by the bird life. A barred owl vocalized nearby the cabin on successive nights and gave us a good look on one occasion. We very much enjoyed our stay.“

„Very open plan with queen bed in bedroom. For the other 2, a sofa bed. Brand new and full of everything that you might need in the kitchen, including a coffee maker and coffee. Range is very nice—convection oven. Lots of amenities in the kitchen (foil, Saran Wrap, sandwich bags) and bathroom (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, hygiene products). Good supply of towels and paper products (I did bring in paper towels). Heating and AC were good—in Spring. North facing, so not sure about mid-summer. Location ...

„The place was cooler than the pictures. Tucked way back in a private community was very cool. Great view of the timber and the animals. Our only complaint is that the remotes need labels, I know first world problems right!! You will not be disappointed with this cabin or the views.“

„Our family of 5 stayed a couple nights for a mini getaway from the city for Spring Break. Beautiful area to explore. House is cozy and full of cool antique decor. Sweet vinyl collection to listen to! Host was friendly and accommodating! Also happy our dog could join us. Thank you! “

„We had a great time staying here for a spring fishing trip. The cabin is nice, clean, private and located in a great spot. If you're fishing, they even have a nice shed to store your stuff along with boot hangers. We had a nice time sitting on the porch after some long days as well as sitting by a fire one night. They even had all the firewood ready for us next to the firepit. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place.“
