„Situated on an isolated raised area just on the edge of the town this is a spacious property with comfortable beds. It is however rather bland inside with sparce furniture. It needs a table and chairs for eating together with a coffee table to help fill the space. The main lights in the bedrooms have no shades or ceiling rose, just the bulb hanging on the cable. „The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. „Paradise! Wow! We were not expecting what a wonderful place this is! It should be labeled a 'resort' more than a hotel. I would have expected to pay three times more for a place like this. „We loved the villa and the surrounding vineyard setting! It was a difficult drive up without signage around the villa and would recommend arriving during daylight. But the drive was worth it!!“
