Gorgeous, clean, inviting house with incredible views!
Our week in Begur was unforgettable thanks to this incredible hillside home overlooking the Mediterranean. Every room had stunning views, and the spacious layout made it perfect for our family - the pictures don’t do the house justice! The shaded pool and large deck were ideal for relaxing, and the covered outdoor dining area made every meal feel special. One of the best features was the location. Just a short 5-minute walk down a steep path brought us to a beautiful beach, perfect for morning swims or relaxing in the afternoon sun (the path can be found by turning right out of the house and going downhill the nearby street - much faster than walking the long way around). The house is also ideally situated for exploring the charming medieval towns that dot the Costa Brava. Each morning, we visited a different nearby village—full of history and local character—then returned to swim in the Mediterranean Sea and later cool off in the pool. Several great restaurants were just a 5-minute walk away—our kids especially loved the brick oven pizza place. While we encountered a couple of minor hiccups—like a finicky dishwasher and some inconsistency with the air conditioning—these didn’t take away from the overall experience. In fact, the property manager was incredibly responsive and arrived quickly to address any concerns we had. This house made our time in Costa Brava truly special. We can’t recommend it highly enough!
