„The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead.“

„The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed to enjoy a peaceful stay. View of lake and amenities were great. We enjoyed use of the paddle boat. Short drive to Hermann which worked out perfectly for our needs as we were attending a conference there. Would definitely recommend and not hesitate to stay again.“

„This is our second stay at this beautiful property. We rang in the New Year at Mandolin Ridge and it was beautiful. We were greeted with the birth of two baby goats which was quite auspicious. The home is spacious and like going to a comfortable, beautifully appointed museum. Each room has hidden delights. A feast for the eyes indeed. The host, Loribeth, is considerate and warm as well detail oriented. It is clear she wants to provide excellence! Mandolin Ridge and Loribeth really deliver.“

„I am from the area originally, being in the military, going home to visit we’re always stuck with family but having something like this is nice since there are no hotels in the area. The only thing I’d recommend is a map to find things like the dumpster- and maybe to find the cabins, anyone not from the area would have difficulty. „My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, drinking wine and playing catch-up plus we visited Rosebud and did some day shopping. Would highly recommend staying at one of the cabins at Red Oak Valley!“

„First of all I appreciate the owner who took time to share crisp and clear instructions with us on how to reach there. Though we reached there little late we had no trouble with the unlocking process and getting in safe. Very beautiful and large house, with a great modernized interior. „We stayed for my friends low-key bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house so many bathrooms that made getting ready for dinner a breeze and the kitchen and dining room was great for game night. And the house was beautiful! The only complaint we had were that there seemed to be an abundance of wasps around the front porch and there was no grill.“
