„Fabulous pub. Super modern clean room outside the main pub. Food delicious at dinner and breakfast and simply lovely staff! What a location just across from the station and in the middle of the 3 peaks. Outstanding!“

„Great place, delicious food and excellent location.“

„Lage und Umgebung ausgezeichnet. “

„Frisch renoviertes Hotel an der Hauptstraße. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten am Hause. Schönes Zimmer, sehr gutes Restaurant im Hause, sehr gutes Frühstück. Der Ort sieht noch genauso aus wie beim "Doktor und das liebe Vieh" aus den 1970'ern ! Sehr gemütlich !“

„Our room was clean,as was the bathroom. The matrass was very soft, would gave preferred firmer. The meals were satisfactory. I would visit again“

„Stay often, so it must be good“

„Robin at reception was a true gem and the best part about the hotel. After her showing us to our room it all went downhill sadly. Bar staff and restaurant staff were inconsistent, didn't listen, were abrupt and stopped talking to us to chat to other people that had entered the pub. No thank you after the purchase of drinks, just a swift turn away. Told us what soup was available after I'd mentioned a week of Puree'd soup in Scotland had not been good... what soup did I get, puree'd veg after ...

„Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade.“

„Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries.“

„I didn't realise this was on a holiday park so maybe my bad there. I was picturing country pub. Lots of noise outside. Then an alarm went off at 3am for ages. The restaurant food wasn't great for the money... But great breakfast and lovely pool.“

„Schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal ist super nett und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ohne viel Auswahl, aber man konnte a la carte bestellen.“

„Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too. The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area. It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.“
