The breakfast was great, sadly we didn’t get to sample the evening restaurant food, as I’m sure that would have been great too. At check in we had a friendly welcome from Janet who along with the rest of the staff that we meet were wonderful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in this area. “

„We had a good sized apartment which had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bed was really big and comfortable. No issues apart from the fact that they weren’t open on Monday. The bathroom sink was too small and the overhanging cupboard made it difficult to avoid hitting your head when washing your face! „We only spent a night and we didnt really user any of the facilities outside of the room/chalet... but what we did use was excellent. Would definitely go again!“

„The Ship is in a quiet country lane 2 minutes from a fabulous beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was really lovely, the bed so comfortable and ours had a beautiful view across the fields. We had dinner which was delicious too. A really peaceful place to stay.“

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before. The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. As a DJ is playing, you will hear the music as a background noise in the room. Parking opportunity is great and room was very clean. All in all it was an enjoyable stay, but not ...

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“
