„Our room had a nice 4-poster-bed. Our companion was upgraded from single to double room. The hotel is located in a zone that cannot normally be accessed by cars, but in the evening ist was still possible for unloading. There is parking available near the hotel at additional cost. The breakfast (continental style) was nice and rich, the staff competent and friendly. We would come back.“

„This hotel is located superbly close to the inner city of Canterbury. You are literally a one minute walk away from the pedestrian zone. It is a little bit hard to find, but the staff is nice. The only problem is that there are no (free) parking spaces around. We were contacted a few days via e-mail before our stay by the hotel, which can provide you with a discount for one of the pay-parking lots.“

The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through ...

„We stayed in the David Bowie room which was fantastically decorated as was the matching bathroom. All rooms were immaculately clean and full of character and charm. There was a great choice of breakfasts which were beautifully prepared, and presented in the lovely ArtDeco dining room. Kat & Richard were wonderful hosts - so friendly and passionate about their Home/B&Bs history, themes and decor. We were celebrating a Birthday and Wedding Anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place to ...

„Wir hatten hier übernachtet, bevor wir mit der Fähre zurück aufs Festland fuhren. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und wir empfehlen das 'The Evenhill' gerne weiter. Sehr gutes Essen im Pub und im Restaurant! Das Frühstück wird nach individuellen Wünschen frisch zubereitet. Unser Zimmer mit Bad war sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
