Seven Pines Cabin a large but cozy and comfortable updated cabin that is easy to access.  Located in the Vallecito Lake Resort Valley, Seven Pines is located close to the Vallecito Lake Marina, hiking trails, two general stores and restaurants nearby. With year round access this cabin provides a warm cozy place to call home during all four seasons. A two-sided rock fireplace anchors the main living area, dining room and kitchen.  In the great room, vaulted ceilings and high windows take in the surrounding woods. The large front yard has a large deck with BBQ grill and table for outdoor gatherings. The two-car garage is heated and has a ping pong table.

NO PETS: This home is NOT pet friendly. Owners are very allergic to dogs, so we cannot make any exceptions.

LOCATION: In the heart of the Lake Vallecito recreation area, you are near the marina, hiking, biking and ATV trails, fishing, hunting, ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling - the San Juan wilderness area is at your doorstep! Vallecito also has a few restaurants and general stores. Appx 25 miles to downtown Durango and 50 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

NOTES:
The fireplace in the Great Room is operational; the fireplace in the bedroom is NOT operational.
This home has parking for 3 vehicles.
During winter storm events 4WD is required.
There are 3 ring cameras on the outside of the home facing the driveway, back porch and walkway to front door.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
