This charming & clean two-level property is nestled up in the woods on a quiet dead-end road just short a 5-minute drive to downtown Bayfield. Head down the hill into Bayfield for dining, shopping, beaches, and hiking. If golfing is your thing, just a 3-minute drive up the hill and you’ll find the gorgeous Apostle Highland Golf Course.

Your host runs Bark Point Ventures, a vacation rental management & concierge company that specializes in properties all along Lake Superior's South Shore. We live nearby and are available whenever needed to assist our guests. Our passion is ensuring guests experience the magic of what we feel is one of the most amazing places in the world.

Woodland Lodging is located on a peaceful wooded lot, just a 5 minute drive to Bayfield's commercial district with a wide range of shops, restaurants, galleries, beaches and the ferry landing. The home sits on a quiet dead-end road and offers a peaceful escape with the convenience of being close to town.

Both levels of this property feature an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a comfy couch, 2 chairs, a dining table with seating for four, a fully-outfitted kitchen, and high-speed wifi that makes streaming your favorite content on the smart tv (Roku) or your preferred device a breeze. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a newer full-sized futon. The full bath has a combo tub/shower. The apartment is set up perfectly for 2 but can comfortably accommodate 2 additional small children or single adult on the futon in the living room.
In the summer months there is an herb garden right off the front deck that guests are welcome to pick from.

Transit
Due to the lack of public transportation and the distance between towns/amenities, a car is pretty much essential. But, on the plus side, traffic is not a concept we have up here!

This rental includes both levels/units at Woodland Lodging. Each Unit has:
-1 bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full-sized futon in the living room, full bathroom, and a kitchenette.
-Sweet front porch from which to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails from.
- Perfect location for exploring everything Bayfield has to offer!
