„Between our room (No 202) and the poolarea was one other guestroom. Nevertheless the very loud noise of the whirlpool didn't let us sleep. The whirlpool ran several times at night. It also seemed as if the staff was very annoyed by the guests. For instance: Breakfast until 10am meens for the Lady in the breakfast room untill 940. Twisting eyes were the answer of the guests "good morning". Friendliness is different in our opinion.“

When I arrived, there was no one in the building and I had not received instructions for my arrival and had to call and leave a message. I shortly received a text and got settled. I had the Captains Room which was fine but had no true view of Lake Superior due to high, slanted windows. The lighting was too dim for me in spite of the three lamps and sink lighting. „Everything clean and well maintained. Good starting point for excursions in the region. Breakfast normal standard and sufficient. Plenty of parking in front of the door. Only point of criticism. It would be good if there was a way to ventilate the rooms.“
