Hotels nahe Bay Island (Palmyra)

„Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and matched the description. I didn’t notice any noise during my stay, which made for a restful experience. The furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is still in good condition and fully functional. The room also had a slight old carpet smell, which wasn’t overwhelming but was noticeable. The bathroom was generally clean, but the shower and bathroom would benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning from time to time to ...

„Some renovations were done, but it still seemed off. We chose not to stay.“

„Very outdated & not very clean. Staff was great but there’s a lot of repairs needed in the rooms.“

„Very nice room with view of the Mississippi River. In quaint part of Hannibal. Loved it.“

„It would have been nice to have a vending machine with soda and candy. Also, the breakfast was good, but minimal. The woman that checked us in Saturday afternoon was very kind and helpful. I wish I had remembered her name, but we checked in on Saturday, October 17 around 430 pm. The entire hotel, lobby and room, were very clean and well organized. We enjoyed our stay.“

„Das Zimmer war für amerikanische Verhältnisse klein. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Stühle in der Lobby waren sehr wackelig. Aus der Decke der Lobby hat es getropft und die Hoteleingangstür hat gequietscht. Das Bett hat geknarzt und erst nach gefühlten 10 Minuten kam lauwarmes Wasser aus der Leitung. Es sollte dringend Geld investiert werden. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen.“

„There were full trash cans and old dishes from room service near our room the entire time we were there. I reported it in the evening and everything was still there the next morning. Not a real good look!“

„The roads were clean but dated a little. The beds were comfortable. It was very close to the interstate so that was helpful. We didn’t take time to eat breakfast. The staff was OK.“

„Average, Sheets and blankets questionable on clean.“

„Bed was uncomfortable for being a hotel. Shower pressure was very poor. Dire need of updating“

„Good for a quick overnight; I arrived at 8:00pm and departed at 7:00am.“

„The facility needs to be updated. If you're looking for a vintage feel with what looks like moldy caulk in the shower, rusty drains, a leaky shower head, thread worn bedding, and buckling laminate flooring, this is your place. I guess I can't complain for the price point, but if I would have known how bad it was I would have booked my stay elsewhere. The pool looked like it needed fresh water and to be circulated. The breakfast offerings were stomach turning to say the least. I'm thankful to ...

„I’m so glad I stayed at this charming and historic bed & breakfast just a few blocks away from the riverfront in my favorite little old town of Hannibal. Everything was within walking distance and it felt a little like going back in time. I highly recommend the Garden House B&B for the authentic Hannibal experience!“

„I was a little surprised as the old photos and description showed that there was breakfast available. The room look quite dirty, my sheets were stained and the air condition was extremely loud. I also heard a loud, large dog above my room when trying to sleep. Parking and property was in a very convenient location. Overall staff were kind, but I had a few unhappy looks of staff.“
