„We stayed with our dog for two nights. Mccanns is perfectly located, Tenterden within easy reach. We use the tap room the one night, nice beer & pizza. Challenger is located beside the other other three units right next to the car park overlooking a small field. The unit has good facilities, covering most needs for a comfortable break. „We came for our 10 year anniversary and It was the best staycation I’ve ever had. So natural, peaceful, enjoyable and a real break from reality. We had the best time and the little details are so thought out even down to all the info you’re sent before your stay that you can save as an app to your phone. The lambs are the cutest especially when they get zoomies of an evening. Bed was super comfy. The food boxes are lovely too. 10/10 and will be returning“

The View Hotel

10/10 Hervorragend

"Ich war schon mehr im The View Hotel und fragte im Voraus für ein Zimmer mit Balkon gegen das Pier ausgerichtet, was super geklappt hat. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Ich hatte ein wunderbares Eckzimmer zur Einzelbenützung mit super Aussicht und jeden Morgen schönem Sonnenaufgang. Ich habe jede Minute genossen. Das Zimmer hatte ein sehr bequemes Bett, Wasserkocher, Klimaanlage, Safe, TV, Dusche und sehr tolle Pflegeprodukten im Spender. Es wurde gesagt, man kann fürs erneute Benützen die Frotteetücher hängen lassen, was aber leider nicht geklappt hat. Alles wurde jeden Tag erneuert. Schade. Statt eines Bügelbrettes/Bügeleisens würde ich einen kleinen Kühlschrank begrüssen und ich vermisste eine Box mit Kleenex. Das Zimmer wurde täglich sauber geputzt. Leider war der Balkon und die Scheiben sehr schmutzig, was sehr schade war. Ich vermisste dort auch einen kleinen Tisch und/oder Hocken damit man eine Tasse abstellen könnte. Es hatte nur einen Stuhl. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig mit sehr leckeren Speisen. Ich vermisste unverarbeitete Haferflocken und/oder Porridge anstelle der vielen sehr zuckerhaltigen, verarbeiteten Cereals und Granola. Alle vom Personal waren äusserst freundlich. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und werde es sicher wieder buchen."

"This hotel is one of the rare finds, that you will treasure forever. Perfect location, overlooking the beach and pier, this seaside Hotel takes you back to what english seaside hotels would have been in their prime. Our room was big and spacious, with a view of the seafront. Super friendly and attentive staff, made my son’s day when he could borrow the paddle board provided by the hotel. The life music on the piano, turned into a fabulous evening of blues and exchange with pianist and other guests. Overall as a Family we had a fabulous time and will be back for sure. This Hotel made the families favourite list for sure."
