Located in the heart of Baton Rouge, the Southdowns neighborhood is one of the city’s most charming and sought-after areas. You will have access to the entire house! The red barn in the backyard is locked and for owner use only. Please do not try to access it during your stay.

The driveway comfortably accommodates up to three vehicles, while the gravel parking area along the street provides space for an additional two vehicles. This setup is ideal for larger groups, offering plenty of room for multiple cars without crowding.

The three downstairs bedrooms are designed with guest comfort in mind. Each feature a Purple mattress, wrapped in luxurious high-thread-count linens for the ultimate sleep experience. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size Purple mattress, while the two additional downstairs bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size Purple mattress. The upstairs bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed (queen bottom, full XL top), perfect for kids of all ages. A baby crib is available for guest use and is conveniently stored in the primary closet. Ample closet space keeps your belongings organized.

Just like the bedrooms, the bathrooms are made for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The master bedroom offers the added luxury of an ensuite. All of the bathrooms are stocked with plush towels for your stay. Please note the upstairs shower head is set at a lower height, making it especially comfortable for children or shorter guests.

To enhance security, this property is equipped with exterior surveillance cameras, solely monitoring outdoor areas without invading your privacy indoors. These cameras include a Ring Doorbell Camera and an Outdoor Camera at the side entrance, both devices with audio at the exterior of the house and will be actively recording the following areas during your reservation:

House Rules

☀ Kitchen: Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We supply tea and coffee, as well as cooking utensils should you wish to cook. My only request is that you put all dishes and utensils in the dishwasher and start a cleaning cycle prior to leaving. Dishwashing pods are under the kitchen sink.

☀ Air Conditioning/Heating: The property has central heating and air. There are three smart thermostats; one located in the master bedroom, one located in the main hallway and one located upstairs. **Please note** The upstairs thermostat is part of a zoned system shared with the downstairs hallway unit, so temperature changes may take a little longer to adjust. For best comfort, we recommend setting it and giving it time to regulate.

☀ Laundry: There is a washing machine and dryer available for you to use in the laundry room. Washing detergent and dryer sheets are on the shelf in the laundry room.

☀ Noise: As neighbors surround our property, we would appreciate it if you could keep any noise down after 9:00 PM if possible.

☀ Pets: Pets are not permitted on the property.

☀ Smoking/Vaping: There is no smoking/vaping permitted on the property.

☀ Backyard/Sideyard: A turf putting green is available for your enjoyment, with putters and golf balls located in the hallway by the side door. Please return all equipment to the designated stand after use. A propane Weber grill is also available, with grilling utensils located in the pantry. After use, please turn off the propane, clean the grill as needed, replace the grill cover, and wash and return all utensils for the next guest. A propane fire pit is available for your enjoyment in the side yard opposite the putting green. Please ensure the propane is turned off after use and allow the unit to cool before replacing the cover. Kindly return the cover after each use and keep the area clean for the next guest.

☀ Game Room: The upstairs game room includes an air hockey table, arcade games, and a selection of kids’ toys for your enjoyment. Please use all equipment responsibly and return any toys or games to the shelves after use. Kindly avoid rough play and food or drinks on the game tables to help keep everything in good condition for future guests.
