„We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. Yet, we were only 10 minutes from the heart of Bathurst, which made exploring the local area easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly loved our stay and couldn’t recommend Old Alloway ...

„It's my home-away-from-home when I work in Bathurst. It comes with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked including some things like olive oil, salt/pepper. The heating options maximise cosiness - the underfloor heating in the bathroom is bliiss. Range of TV options is great. It is a drive into town, but that ensure it's quiet and peaceful. I recommend Bant Cottae - but not when I want to stay - haha. Elizabeth“

„The house was as described. It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet area, just 5 minutes from the city. It suited our needs beautifully - 3 mature couples wanting a reunion and to explore the area. Three bathrooms gave us privacy and the two communal areas were useful. Access was easy with the key lock and we had no need to meet a host. Highly recommend.“

„Very comfortable and well equipped accomodation with plenty of room for extended family. Location was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Just a note: The internal stairs are steep and narrow so may not be suitable for elderly with mobility issues or physically impaired persons.“

„We were very happy with the location of the house and the layout and the ambience the home was beautifully decorated and all the amenities were perfect and in good working order. We were comfortable and very satisfied with the home. We requested an early check in which was immediately responded to. All in all we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to our family and friends.“

"Die Unterkunft im amerikanischen Motel-Stil hält im Wesentlichen, was sie verspricht. Wenn ich mir hier die Bilder der Unterkunft anschaue, dann sind diese allerdings vielleicht ein wenig zu positiv dargestellt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist etwas ungünstiger, da man für vergleichbaren Komfort durchaus auch schon mal ein inbegriffenes Frühstück erwarten kann. Für mich die entscheidende Frage bleibt immer, ob ich hier nochmal übernachten würde. Und diese Frage kann ich rückblickend mit "ja" beantworten. Für mehr als zwei Übernachtungen würde ich dann allerdings eine besser ausgestattete Unterkunft bevorzugen."
