Die Eingangstür führt direkt in eine offene Küche, Ess- und Wohnzimmer in den Farben weiß, Milch und dunkle Schokolade eingerichtet, mit dicker Sahne Teppiche, dunkle Holzmöbel und verführerische Details. I have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in any holiday let I have stayed in. I spent nine days there for the Jane Austen festival, partly by myself and partly with a friend. She thought the sofa bed was excellent, and it was so easy to unfold. We had ample space to hang up all our Regency outfits in the wardrobe, along with a deep shelf for the hat boxes. Add to that the parking space, which was a huge bonus, and the convenient walk into the city centre.

The apartment was clean and in a good location, near enough to the heart of the city to easily walk to. The kitchen was also very clean and modern, as well as the bathroom. I would recommend this to friends and family as a very good place to stay while visiting Bath.

This was the perfect property to enjoy a weekend in Bath sightseeing and visiting the Christmas market. The parking spot was a huge bonus. The apartment was immaculate and only a 10 minute walk into town. Definitely recommend.

A cosy place

We were delighted with the apartment. It’s small and very well appointed meaning it feels comfortable and has everything you need. Up to date clean styling gives a relaxing feel. The parking space is a big bonus for Bath, we managed to park a truck there but it is best suited to a small car. And the location is brilliant with a short flat walk to the nicest part of the city. Highly recommended.

Great location and luxe accommodation

The property was well located to downtown Bath with only a short walk. The parking spot, though tight, was invaluable as parking is difficult in Bath. The bed was really comfortable and the fittings was equipped so we could cook some meals inside. The perfect place for a slightly longer getaway with all your needs met. Highly recommended.

Five star holiday

We were extremely impressed with Herschel Place as somewhere to stay. Marvellous to be able to park right at the front door and even better a bath in the bathroom as we are not lovers of showers! The location was spot on and just the right distance from the city centre for a pleasant walk into town. Very clean and comfortable although I think the sofa is coming to the end of its life as far as comfort is concerned. We would certainly recommend it. Sue

A week in Bath

A lovely well equipped property with all you would need for a comfortable stay. Parking space is very tight! Didn't need to use the car during our stay though as the property was so close to all that Bath had to offer. And it offers a lot!

Exactly what I had hoped for!

Fantastic apartment, pictures online were accurate. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen for cookware and dishes. Lovely neighborhood, easy to walk in to center of town in less than 10 minutes, felt very safe there. I would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat and may try to do so next year!

Beautiful and convenient ground floor flat

We were very happy with the flat and arrival help by Laine. The flat is exceptionally clean and comfortable and has an assigned parking space, though it is preferable to have a small car as the space is tight. It is a 5-minute walk to The Pulteney Arms, a friendly pub with excellent food, and less than 10 minutes to the Pulteney Bridge into the city center.

Wonderful spacious accommodation in the heart of Bath . It’s close to the shops , supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance . Henrietta Park is beautiful and very close to walk in , lots of lovely trees, birds and squirrels to see and all green ! Parking out the front door was very welcome . Washer / dryer came in handy and the full kitchen we used . Nice to have a separate bedroom to the lounge too . Check in was easy and Laine that met us was very welcoming . We would stay here again

Nice apartment, near central location

1 Herschel Place is a nice, quiet, comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our short break. The parking space is handy as Bath is not very car-friendly. In fact we only used the car for excursions outside of the city, as everything else was walkable – 15 minutes to Pulteney Bridge and its independent shops and eateries (something for everyone including Thai, Italian, Mediterranean, all with good veggie choices). The welcome pack, including wine, was a nice touch. The only slight glitch with the apartment was the constant background hum of a boiler or generator which we think was coming from a services room next to our bedroom/bathroom. We managed to ‘tune out’ the sound but it could irritate some. We would return for a longer visit as we only scratched the surface of what Bath has to offer.
