Lack of key and communication was unable to check in. All documented Immediately upon realizing no key I messaged pertinent parties, Expedia and Vrbo. After 3 HOURS WAITING the host finally responded. NO Assistance. Internet was spotty at location so disconnected several times. I found alternate accommodation.Expedia provided excellent assistance. VRBO did not. Host refused refund of cleaning deposit of course unneeded since I could not access the apartment. After staying throughout the world many years in hotels, apartments etc all verifiable, first time experience with zero backup.
