"The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet connection broke down every night. The location is great, but there's some work to do to bring it back to its standard. "

"Am Wochenende beziehungsweise Samstag wurden die Zimmer nicht gereinigt und an einem Tag gab es bis mittags kein Wasser. Das Frühstück ist nicht wie angegeben, ein umfangreiches Frühstück, sondern eher eine Sparversion. Es ist schon etwas älter, aber zum schlafen und feiern reicht die Trümmerbude aus."
