„During our stay there was a water pipe burst that you still had not solved after two days.“

„Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend.“

„Solides Hotel an günstiger Lage.

„The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. „A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area.“

„I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.“

„Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.“

„Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay.“

„Schönes, typisch englisches Hotel. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war klein aber total ausreichend, das Abendessen von der Karte fanden wir etwas überteuert. Ansonsten ist die Bar/ Restaurant sehr angenehm in der Atmosphäre. “

„Ideal location for a family visit & made our dog feel very welcome! Everywhere was beautifully decorated & the staff were very welcoming! Breakfast was amazing & we would definitely stay there again !! Well done to the Sutherland xx“

„It is a very lovely B&B. The Breakfast was very very good! The room was very clean. We enjoy our little stay there!“

„Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.“
