„This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay.“

„ The apartment is only about 50 meters from the beach, so the sound of the waves coming in is very peaceful. The apartment is very poorly equipped. Only one pot and one pan to cook meals with. No cupboards, no dresser. Bed is very comfortable. Deck is very hot during the day, so not really useable. Pool on the roof was nice, as one could sit in it and watch the whales in the bay. Recommended, in spite of the inadequacies.“

„Located in the busy area of Barra de Navidad. Shops and restaurants literally around the corner. Lots of local food vendors and small grocery stores. It can be noisy at night but I found that when I went into bedroom the noise decreased significantly and I was not bothered at all, slept well. „We had booked this property for 28 days. Compared to other properties in the area we do not believe we got value for the amount we paid. „Location of the home was within short walking distance to several good restaurants and not far from the centre of Barra, its beach and malecon. „My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. The hosts bent over backwards to make us comfortable and even took the time to discuss life in Barra de Navidad and surrounding areas.
