"The PortoBay Blue Ocean was a brilliant first hotel experience of the portugese Algarve for us. Buildings and rooms were in absolut great condition (the beach access outside the hotel area was a little tricky - a coordinating info of the reception during check-in could have helped). The garden area was very comfortable with great views over the ocean. The service of the restaurants and hotel staff was absolutely perfect (a decent bit of a little more friendliness could have been placed for a more welcoming feeling). Parking was pretty easy and there was no need of the parking garage (15 €) due too enough possibilties outside of the hotel. Prices for drinks and food are on the upper level, but most of them are in a great quality. There is a possibility of using the area and restaurant of the nearby partner hotel as well. We consider to return for another vacation."
