„We had a fantastic stay at the villa in Pontassieve. We were are group of 35 people that rented the entire house for a long weekend in order to celebrate a 30th birthday. The check-in was easy. „Großes Haus, gut ausgestattete Küche für große Gruppen, ruhige Lage mit Fernblick. Es sind 800 steile Meter Schotter bis zur Hauptstraße, wir mussten unsere Rennräder dorthin hochschieben. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön, das Haus hat Charme und etwas Patina, wie bei älteren Landhäusern üblich. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut.“

The host was extremely responsive about the check-in process leading up to the stay, during the stay whenever we had any issues, and even after our stay when we needed to recover an item that was left behind. There were some slight hiccups with the house during our stay (garage door opener was out of batteries one time and the shower drain clogged one time), but the host was proactive as can be and quick ...

„We had a 2 week pleasant stay at Macinella. House and equipment is not new, but fit-for-purpose and shows a lot of style and character. Rosella and Stelio have been very nice to us and helpful. The house is best suited as a quiet and relaxing hideaway for a few days. Siena, San Gimignano and Florenz can be well reached by car. Supermarkets within 3km reach.“

„Our family stayed 2 weeks at this fantastic little paradise. Everything was like you can see on the pictures and in the description. A fantastic area just for your own. No disturbance from outside and you are also not disturbing anybody.
