Beech Mtn Chalet | Long-Range Views, Sleeps 9, AC

Beech is the highest town in the eastern U.S., so the color turns early and the air goes crisp before anywhere else. Take in the long-range views as the ridges shift to gold and red, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway at its peak, and warm up by a real wood fire at night. Sugar Mountain`s Oktoberfest and Banner Elk`s Woolly Worm Festival are both a short drive.

The Space — An open kitchen, living, and dining area with vaulted ceilings and big windows that pull the view inside. A large TV in the living room, a wood-burning fireplace, and comfortable seating make the main level the natural gathering spot. Air conditioning in every room — a genuine comfort upgrade, and uncommon on this mountain.

Sleeping for nine, across four spaces:
Primary bedroom (main level) — king bed, with direct deck access to step out to the view.
Guest bedroom 1 — two twin beds, also with direct deck access.
Guest bedroom 2 — two twin beds.
Loft — a queen bed and a twin, plus a convenient half bath.
One full bathrooms downstairs, one full bathroom on the main level, one half bath in the loft.

The twin layout is flexible — great for families with kids, friend groups, or multiple couples who want their own space.

The Outdoors — A large deck built for the view, with room to dine, relax, and take in the long-range ridges. Morning coffee and evening air, with the mountains doing all the work.

Getting Around & Things to Know — Beech Mountain roads climb; from December through March we recommend AWD or 4WD, and it`s smart to be prepared for early snow at this elevation. Wood-burning fireplace (guests provide their own firewood, or ask us).
