Salt Block - The Rustic 1 | Gemütliche 2-Zimmer-Wohnung in Bandera

The Rustic is on the ground floor of the Salt Block in downtown Bandera. The 11th Street Cowboy Bar is across the street, Main Street shops and restaurants are a walk away, and the Medina River is less than a mile from the door. Salt Block guests get a discount at Salty's Texas Provisions in town, a shop for gifts and things made in Texas.



The suite is newly finished, with central air and heat and a blend of modern and rustic decor. A spacious living area has a smart TV, and Wi-Fi runs throughout. The full kitchen has new stainless appliances, a dishwasher and a coffee station. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins, and the full bath has a walk-in shower.



Up to two pets are welcome here. The kitchen is stocked with smoked salts and spices from a Bandera salt maker. There is a parking spot on the property and more on the street, and motorcycles are welcome. Three other suites in the building can be added for a bigger group.



Early check-in may be available on request. Every stay includes the Texas Hill Country Travel App, a local guide for exploring the area.



WHY WE LIKE IT

The Rustic is the suite we suggest to people bringing dogs. It is on the ground floor, so no stairs with a leash in hand, and it takes up to two pets. The second bedroom is set up for two, which works for kids or a friend. And the coffee station in the kitchen is one only the ground-floor suites have.

GOOD TO KNOW

The Salt Block is downtown in a busy neighborhood across from the 11th Street Cowboy Bar, so expect some noise at night even though the suites are well insulated.
